a real issue
A recent Time magazine article about VP hopeful Sarah Palin reports that when she was mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, she tried to ban books. It reads, in part:
Forget the baby mama drama. This is a very real reason not to vote her into higher office.
Palin continued to inject religious beliefs into her policy at times. "She asked the library how she could go about banning books," [former mayor John Stein] says, because some voters thought they had inappropriate language in them.
Forget the baby mama drama. This is a very real reason not to vote her into higher office.

Yikes... you are 100% correct!
I heard a rumor today that the daughter in fact isn't 5 months pregnant... that it's the baby weight she hasn't lost from giving birth to the 4 month old that Palin is saying is hers. And to top that off, supposedly the daughter mysteriously missed 6 months of school this past school year due to "mono".
Definitely food for thought.
