pay it forward

Life is tough — but we can change that. How? I challenge everyone to pay it forward at least once this week. Here's how:
  1. Do someone a favor.
  2. Instead of having that person pay you back, ask them to pay it forward with a favor to someone else.
  3. Ask them to pass the pay it forward challenge along, too.
  4. Share results as comments to this note.
  5. Post these instructions in your own blog, LJ, FB, chat room, bulletin board, internal memo, etc.
Go on. Make someone's day.

use your spare change to make CHANGE

What to do:

Go to www.positivechange.com and make a donation — as little as 99 cents. Your contribution will help feed hungry families this Christmas.

If Positive Change receives $1,000 from 100 people by 12/18, they'll receive an additional $1,000 in matching donations. So get clicking! This is change in which we can all believe — and participate.

and for my next trick ...

  • Work: Done, several days ahead of schedule. Good for me.
  • Cats: Napping.
  • House: Clean (enough).
  • Lawn: Unmowed for the past month, covered in leaves, and likely to stay that way. Because it's sleeting outside.
  • Watching: The Nude Bomb, a 1980 Maxwell Smart big-screen feature. Not bad, really. The disco intro is fun. And the final episode of Journeyman (via hulu.com). Positively decent. I really wish it was still on.
  • Cookies: Baked. Warm. Gooey. Mine.
